We left Bedwas at 9.45, headed for the Harvester at Pontypool to meet Vaughan, Adele & Lauren.
Arived about 3.15 and setup, our van, a gap for awning, then Vaughan's van. Lauren's tent squeezed in between us at the front with the windbreak at the back. Got a nice little communal area going on!
There were a few artists playing in the night, just one or two songs each. Had some food, Adele ordered a Yorkshire pudding meal, and they have her two by mistake. Me and Lau shared the other, it was huge!
After a few beers, things started to wind down and a few spots of rain started to fall. We made it back and pulled out my awning to protect the chairs in case it rained that night.
Which it did.

The rain stopped, so me and lau went on a ride through Brabyns Park to the aqueduct, then to Romily and back. Vaughan's sugar levels were really low tthe night before so didn't come along. Will show him the route on Sat/ Sunday for a ride.
The shows start at 4.30 in acoustic tent and 7 on the main stage.

Laura's birthday! So we rode to Brabyn's Park for a park run which we did in 37 mins.
When we got back, Vaughan had awoke and was ready for a ride himself, so I went back out again. We did the route that I did with Laura.
Came back and had afternoon tea with Laura. She had a bottle of wine and some lovely gifts from Adele and Vaughan, and some lovely cards from family and friends.
Later in the day we all went to the pub for a meal to celebrate Lau's birthday. But it turned out that they only did starters and extras - no main meals. But we still enjoyed it, although a little disappointing.
Back to the concert and watched William Michael Morgan, he was good👍
Weather forecast not good for Sunday though. Might have to put the awning away so the wind don't rip it. Storm straps are good but they might hold it to tight and cause a tear? I don't know...

Lau had some pains so we took our easy in the van for a while, it was lashing down again so we both read our books, had some afternoon tea scones, and a lovely tesco meal deal - chicken pie and veg.
Went back up to watch some acoustic music, a song swop with where Gary Quinn, Kezia Gill and Jade Helliwell. Gary was doing one of Kezia's songs that morphed into 'Eye of the Tiger' - very funny and very well done ✔

Back to the main tent to watch some other artists, and Laura really liked Dan Davidson.
The next guy had Laura, Adele and Lauren all dancing - Matt Lang.
The last act of the night was a Jam in the Barn. Artists came in and did a song with the house band. Great fun, not overcrowded so it was a good finish to the weekend.

Home today, packed up easily - our motorhome makes it so easy.
